Marisa Roman is an associate at Tapestry Networks, working with teams in the firm’s corporate governance and financial services practices. Prior to joining Tapestry, Marisa practiced civil litigation in the greater Boston area and represented national and international corporations in product liability, insurance, real estate, and general commercial disputes. She is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Massachusetts and Rhode Island as well as the United States Supreme Court.
Marisa received a JD from Boston University School of Law, where she was the Managing Editor of the Review of Banking & Financial Law and a teaching fellow for a corporate law course. She holds a BA in American Studies and Government from the University of Virginia.
Marisa is the Vice-President of Fund Development for the Junior League of Boston and logs more than 100 volunteer hours per year in this position. She is also a board member on the Boston University School of Law’s Young Alumni Council and a member of the Esplanade Association’s Friends Council. She lives in Charlestown, MA.
